Carrie Cox: Should I stay or should I go?

Here's most recent result from Schering-Plough's message board:

Carrie77hhyerie

More than 90% of those voting want to get rid of Carrie Cox.

This one will be interesting to watch--will Teflon-Hassan, who has worked with Carrie for years, throw her to the wolfs or will he stick by her?

And the problem is that irrespective of what happens legally, every employee knows that Carrie sold most of her stock last year.

If the SEC or Congress finds that Carrie Cox, Sean McNicholas, Raymond Russo, and other key Vytorin executives all sold their stock options last year, things could look even more dicey.

But suppose they find nothing, and Carrie was the only one selling? Whatever happens with the legal proceedings, it will still be impossible for Carrie to stand in front of the sales force and claim that she believes in the future of SGP and all those other things corporate execs like to say.

As a leader she is finished within Schering-Plough.

So what will Hassan do?

Will she stay or will she go?

Once this slippery path has begun the odds are the person eventually goes.
