Canadian drug reimportation to the U.S. is way down, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Two reasons:
1. The U.S. dollar’s decline; now worth less than one Canadian dollar for the first time in fifty years.
2. The medicare prescription-drug benefit.
Sales by Canadian Internet pharmacies fell to CA$221 million last year, from CA$420 million Canadian in 2005, according to IMS Health.
