I guess if this continues Canadians will soon buy drugs in the U.S. For the first time in modern history one USD is worth less than one CAD.
Of course, if you belive in conspiracy theories, this is the White House doing the drug industry's bidding; can't raise prices overseas? Well, let's lower the price of the dollar. The effect on drug company P&Ls will be exactly the same. It goes way up!

What do you mean by modern History? This is the same value the CAD had in the beginning of the '60s —unless that doesn't qualify as "modern History"—. Therefore, it is not the first time the USD worths less than a CAD.
