Pfizer has reported its third data breach in three months, with 34,000 employees getting their personal information and social security numbers stolen.
According to The Day, this caused CT state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal to call for a criminal investigation of the incidents.
“This is part of a pattern that is unacceptable and which the company should find intolerable,” Blumenthal said in a phone interview Tuesday. “We are alerting criminal authorities, specifically the U.S. Attorney's Office, as to the possibilities of criminal wrongdoing.”
And someone was quoted in the article saying, “The clowns at Pfizer clearly have no way of keeping confidential data safe.”
Check out who that was, here.
