Finally, Pfizer Has Some Good News to Talk About

For a company that seems permanently beset by controversy, a little light has shined: PFE is developing an interesting anti-HIV drug which stops the onset of AIDS in some patients. Merck also has one. You'd think the Pfizer pfolks would be trumpeting this from the rooftops, especially considering their recent PR run-ins with HIV advocacy groups. Some words of caution before you get too excited: The drug, maraviroc, only works with certain types of HIV, about half the cases reported.
