Pharmalot has an interesting post about Cephalon being dinged by the FDA for an off-label promo letter it found at a conference. Apparently, the flier touted the narcolepsy drug as a cure for "run-of-the-mill insomnia and fatigue that can be found in patients with MS, ADHD, Parkinson's, depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome." But note the comments section under Pharmalot's post. Someone claiming to be from Cephalon denies the company was at fault. Instead, "Sheryl Williams" says, a doctor created the unapproved flier independently. "This document is not a Cephalon document and is not used by any Cephalon personnel," the post says.
