Watch this space. The NAD just handed down another decision, this time bashing MacNeil's Tylenol Rapid Release Gels. It will be posted shortly. See the post directly below this one for what I think the significance of these decisons is. The ruling came after a challenge from fellow drug giant Wyeth. MacNeil now has to stop telling people that RRG is “medicine to be released into your system faster than before.” I'll say it out loud: It will be a matter of time before these companies try litigating one of these on the prescription side—something I'm looking forward to, because it will produce news by the bucketload. Remember, these fights are important. After all, it was MacNeil claiming that Tylenol RRG is indeed "medicine."
